Poplar Pathways
A supportive & personalised learning environment

At Poplar Pathways, placement is guided by each learner’s developmental, academic and support needs rather than age or traditional grade grouping alone.
Poplar Pathways provides a smaller, supportive learning environment for neurodivergent learners and children who benefit from a more personalised approach to education.
Neurodivergent learners may include children who experience differences in attention, processing, communication, sensory needs or emotional regulation, and who may thrive with a more flexible and individualised approach to learning.
The focus is on creating a calm, nurturing space where learners can work at a pace that supports their individual needs while continuing to build confidence, independence and academic skills.
Small classes allow for more individual attention, flexible teaching approaches and meaningful support throughout the school day. Learning is adapted where needed to help learners access the curriculum in ways that work best for them.
The programme also supports the development of practical skills, communication, emotional regulation, social interaction and independent learning.
Onsite speech and occupational therapy are available as part of the broader support offered to learners.
At Poplar Pathways, the aim is not simply to help learners cope with school, but to help them feel understood, capable and supported in their learning journey.
Different pathways. Equal potential.
